Thanks to our unique technology, the ZX490LCH-7 operates with less fuel, fewer emissions and more quietly than the previous model. The HIOS IIIB hydraulics system has a positive impact on productivity, due to the efficient swing, boom lowering, arm and bucket roll-out, and also results in reduced fuel consumption and running costs.
Another example of our advanced technology is the after-treatment device, which results in fewer emissions and a quieter performance. Our ZX490LCH-7 also produces fewer pollutants thanks to the variable geometry turbocharger and high volume-cooled exhaust gas recirculation system.

Ultimate durability

Designed and engineered for large-scale construction projects and quarries, the ZX490LCH-7 offers a high level of durability. In line with our ongoing aim to build the ultimate excavator, we’ve added protection for key components and used high-quality materials to ensure your large excavator gives a reliable performance.
The boom has been reinforced with thicker plates, and the undercarriage consists of robust components including the track link, master pin, idler pedestal and bracket, and upper roller bracket. The in-cab console is made of weather-resistant material to prevent damage from UV rays.
